Missing System Tray Icon
Hi guys,
we're using Imprivata OneSign on our Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise Terminal Service vWorkspace farms. However I've been asked by our users to re-enable the OneSign system tray icon which they don't see when they logon via pntsc/app portal etc.
The application is running, as one can see the notification pop-ups the program sends and it functions fine, however they cannot access the context menu which provide other functionality. When I log on using pntsc with my admin credentials I also cannot see the icon but when I logon, or a user logs on using the RDP mstsc client they can see the icon...
I've asked Imprivata also but it would seem to be a Quest issue...
Has anyone else had problems with systray icons not appearing and is there a way I could troubleshoot/fix this issue?
Cheers,

Yes, the users, and myself are connecting to a full published desktop through a vWorkspace connection broker.

Is it a full desktop you are connecting to?

have you tried connecting with standard RDP connection using normal login accounts vs the quest softrware
If you still have the issue its a terminal services issue (GPO lockdowns, or functionality of product)

Okay, I've created a new published desktop, on a new Terminal Server, with OneSign installed... No Connection policies, no user polices, no GPO settings, just plain and simple.
Using pntsc - no systray icon
using mstsc - systray icon present
the mystery continues...
