How do i workout VDI session is from AppPortal or Web-IT ?
We currently have access to our vWorkpace VDI service via AppPortal and Web-IT
Web-IT VDI is via https - so the session goes through the Secure Gateway
We have 3 Web-IT Secure Gateway servers behind our F5 load balancer
my question is...
if we are planning - say for Windows patching and we need to know the current sessions running
through the Web-IT servers to temp take-offline a host during patching process ( ie stop new sessions / wait for current live VDI's to finish )
..is it possible to find out what session are running on which Web-IT ( SSL ) host
how can i monitor this maybe run a report via the vWorkspace Report Viewer

Hi.All
SSL from which host is what i was looking for
it looks like for now we prob can get this info from our F5 Units ( load balancers )
but might be a nice feature for VDI vFoglight ??
thanks

I think the question is 'which SSL host are they connected on' and not 'are they connected via SSL'?

Hi Prit,
I think this used to be possible before the days of EOPx as users coming via the SSL GW would have a reported client IP address of 127.0.0.1 and directly connected users would have their correct IP displayed but as i said EOPx causes 127.0.0.10 to be displayed. This might be addressed in the future but I am not sure when.
Regards
Paul
