Cannot load file
My network has computers with restricted internet access. When my user tries to open SmartVault QB Desktop on the web (http://www.cpaasp.com/login_frames.htm) we get a error
Quest vWorkSpace client
Cannot load file "C:\Documents and Settings\xyz\Local Settings\Temporart Internet Files\Content.IE5\0DEB4TIN\SmartVault+QB+Desktop_5wzskbilxvrqqsfxuprnlby1_m[1].pit"
Can anyone guide me how to resolve this error.
**The above works fine if I enable full internet access to the computer.

Hello,
When you click on the SmartVault desktop, IE will connect to a Website to download the connection file (The .pit file mentioned above)
This will most likely need to be done via HTTPs.
Without knowing what your internet restrictions are, it's hard to guide you but it'll either be you're not allowed to go to the URL or you're blocking the download.

Hi Andrew,
I have allowed http://www.cpaasp.com/login_frames.htm* in my firewall. How will I come to know which is the https site from where the .pit file is downloaded. If you can guide me with the site I can open that specific file in my firewall.
I enable only those sites in my firewall which are required by my users.
Please guide

Hello Vishal,
You can send an e-mail to support@quest.com and explain your challange. Also mention that it is a vWorkspace 7.2 case.
After that you will shortly receive your case number.
