Can you safely reboot a connection broker during production hours?

Eeuuuh, well.... thats it. Can you?

Without disconnecting everybody of course

I would say you can, and during broker off-line moments no-one can log in but existing connections would not be affected.

But now i'm floating my pointer round the reboot button and i'm getting cold feet.

so, should i or not?
