Can not connect to farm with AppPortal
Hi,
We are unable to connect to RDSH farm with windows connector (app portal). We are using vWorkspace 8 and error only happen on windows connector. Majority of clients are wyse thin clients with WyseThinOS with integrated vworkspace connector and from there everything is working fine.
But on windows we are able to connect to farm, user than gets a list of published apps, but when they try to start them nothing happen. It just display that the session is starting, this run forever. After killing that "connecting window" user get error:
Also if we start app from web portal we get an error:
We try with connector version: 8.0.306.1167 and 8.0.306.1427
Also, rdp sessions to RDSH are working OK.

Hi Robert,
In your AppPortal settings do you have the Proxy Server enabled under the Firewall/Proxy Traversal section. If this is enabled and a proxy is not configured then this could affect your ability to connect.

Hello David,
"No proxy" setting did help a bit, but still published app not start.
Instead of, we get a RDP desktop session, I can then run an application and at the log off I get an error: "Could not established connection to server"

We managed to resolve the issue "Could not established connection to server" with support. It turns out that RDSH hosts were not setup correctly. We have to enable "Run initial program specified by user profile and Remote Desktop Connection or Client" on connection properties of each RDSH.
