Android app on XOOM

I am testing the android app on the XOOM  - The icons are all orange under the application section.  I have the ipad running the app where they look normal. Is this a bug or something in the settings?  I also have an issue with the time showing wrong on the desktop in portal - is there a setting for this?

Hi MariAnne,

I've not seen that issue before with regards to the icons. Could you raise a support case with our technical support team and they will be happy to assist you. If they verify that this is a bug then we can look to resolve it, but investigation with them is the way to go. You can raise the case by emailing support@quest.com or via http://support.quest.com

With regards to the time showing wrong in the virtual machine - this isnt something that is controlled by the Connector - I would suggest checking the time settings for as to how your virtual machines syc their time.

2008 R2  - we did what the support desk said for my account and specified a "Time Zone" to the user account from the vWorkspace Management Console - "vWorkspace_Farm" | "Resources" | "Time Zones" -. Select the correct time zone from the list and assign it

This fixed the time but it asks you for standard or daylight savings time so I sent in a question on what this means - looks like I will have to manually change it for daylight savings.

Ah, I understand a bit better now, thanks. Are you using 2003 TS with our Timezones-IT feature or using 2008 R2 natively to set this?

Thanks I posted this on twitter also and @vdidude Kelly Craig also recommended that I submit a ticket so I did.  The time issue appears to be from the device attaching to the terminal server - our server are setup to get the time from the device and the XOOM does not pass the time.  We are having this issue with the MAC client also.  The ipad2 app works great.  We have temporarily set the user to eastern standard time on the server side.  I am waiting to here back from support on the orange icons.
