VPlex Mobility - Moving data across a Metro configuration
I am new to the Vplex world and was reading the documentation for data mobility. It states that you can use the GUI for VPlex Local, but for mobility in a Metro configuration you need to use the CLI. Will this always be the case or are there plans to integrate that functionality into the GUI.

Can you specify where you see this documented? In the GUI there is a section for Move Across Cluster

Yes, you are correct. I was just working from the most recent student training guide from late 2012. Module 2: "Vplex Management Interfaces" section on page 34 indicates that you have to use the CLI for a Metro configuration to perform mobility across clusters. I did check our current software version (5.2.1.02.00.03) and yes it does support mobility across clusters. Thanks.
