VPLEX LUN as SSD drive
Hi,
I am using VPLEX METRO since two weeks ago and today I saw that one of the LUNs I am "offering" to the host is being seen in vSphere as a SSD drive. Why is it like that? Will it mean any difference in the performance?
Thanks

I am using ESXi 5.1 and some VPlex LUNs are showing as SSD, and others are showing as NON-SSD. Can't figure out where the difference lies. Sure would like to know the answer!

Watch closely, they'll switch back and forth between SSD and non-SSD.

My guess is that when listed as "SSD", its actually caching the data prior to synch... I've seen them switch back and forth as well...
