Hi wanaka,
This is expected. Currently no version of GeoSynchrony software supports the UNMAP command.

Hi wanaka,
We are looking at adding a compellent to our VPlex/VNX. Currenlt our SC8000 is not officially supported and I was wondering what compellent hardware you were using and any issues that you had. Please contact me at danne-murphy@smh.com. Thanks.

Hi Garyo,
any news on when UNMAP will be supported by VPLEX?
With EMC very aggressive marketing towards xtremio it's starting to be a very important functionality to be developed.
Thanks.

Hi Matteo,
Best information you will get about VPLEX futures will be to setup a NDA roadmap discussion with your EMC account team rep.
Unmap is on the roadmap, but I can't say or promise when it'll come.
Thanks,
Gary

Hi - sorry, no update that I can share publicly. Again, contact your EMC rep, they should be able to get you the info you need.
Thanks,
Gary

VPLEX 5.5 has been released yesterday but any mention about UNMAP on the release notes here
https://support.emc.com/docu61211_VPLEX-5.5-Release-Notes.pdf?language=en_US
Can you confirm it has not been implemented yet??
