Wireless Card Upgrade to 5Ghz/BT for Vostro 3550?

My .  I would like to go 5Ghz with bluetooth.  Will the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260HMW meet my needs?  If not, please suggest an adequate card.  I currently have the Centrino N 1030.  Thanks!

Welcome to the Dell Community @Robert6464

The 7260HMW should work.

If you do decide on it then try to purchase the Dell card P/N 8TF1D

Your laptop came with the option for the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230:

Looks like I'll go with the 7260, has BT4 (other is BT3) and newer driver upgrades.  Thanks!

So I ordered the Dell AC7260 from a seller on eBay and what arrived is an AC3160NGW out of an Inspiron.  Is this card as good as the AC7260?  I haven't installed it yet to see if it works, but if comparable, I'd accept it.  Thoughts?

I'll answer my own question.  The AC7260 is a 2x2 antenna card, the AC3160 1x1.  Maximum throughput is twice as high for the AC7260.  May or may not make a difference, but I will pursue the AC7260.  Again.
