Where to enable WOL in BIOS?
Hello,
I have purchased a Dell Vostro 3420, all drivers are installed and NIC is setup to allow to be powered down and accept wake packets.
But I can't find any options in BIOS to enable the WOL function.
Does Vostro 3420 support WOL?
Kind regards,
Samir

GIven that these are simply Inspiron systems with different software configurations and paint colors, it's unlikely you'll find that setting -- they're just not designed for applications needing wake on LAN support.

@ejn63
Thanks for your feedback.
I have an old 3rd gen Intel Acer laptop that has a really basic BIOS with no wake options, but it does wake! Just setting the nic to allow wake within widows 10 is enough.
Don't understand how a laptop like this with quite a comprehensive bios does not have wake options.
