We couldn't finish installing SupportAssist OS Recovery What to do ?

I got this error message ("We couldn't finish installing SupportAssist OS Recovery") after uninstalling Dell SupportAssist, reinstalling it, and then attempting to install SupportAssist OS Recovery as shown in the OP's screenshot. The error message went away after I uninstalled and reinstalled Dell Update and installed the Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery Plugin for Dell Update (which wasn't installed).

Probably better to try to get the last two pieces of software from the Dell Product Support page (https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us?app=products) for your specific Dell computer since Dell seems to create a new page for every software version, so the links above may not necessarily refer to the latest versions of the software in the future.

May be worth noting that Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery is confusingly called Dell SupportAssist Remediation in Windows' app list (in case one needs to make sure it successfully installed).
