Wake up at scheduled time Vostro 3500
A simple question I hope. In EUFI/BIOS there is an advanced option to wake at a scheduled or regular date/time. I just want to know if this only works when connected to mains power or if it also works with battery only. I don't want my computer waking up in my laptop bag overnight but I would like it to wake up if on my desk with power.

Typically, the wake-up function will only work if the computer is connected to an AC power source, as the wake-up timer is powered by the system's power supply. If the computer is running on battery power only, the wake-up function may not work.
