Vostro doesn’t start up neither charge
My dell vostro 5620 is not starting on, I put it on sleep mode and after i tried to turn it on it doesn’t and it does not charge now, I charged another one of my laptop and the charger works just fine, any solutions to this problem?

Try a reset first. Unplug the adapter and the battery then press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Then reconnect everything and try to boot again. Does the adapter have a light on it and if so does the light go out when you plug it into the laptop? And assuming the adapter works fine (it is a Dell OEM adapter I presume) then either the DC jack, battery, or charging circuit on the MB are the cause. If it does not turn on or charge then it may well be the battery is dead and possibly defective. When you press power does the Caps Lock key light up?

@JOcean I have the similar problem. The caps lock key lights up.The amber light blinks 2 and white blinks 4 times. Can you help me?

@Abitha06 Do you also have a vostro and if so what is the model number? But in general that LED light pattern indicates a RAM problem. Try reseating the RAM and if that does not help try one RAM module at a time. The caps lock lit indicates that the laptop is receiving power.
