vostro 5471-4648, 32GB, RAM modules

Hello!
I want to install 32 GB of RAM in a laptop. Does anyone know this RAM is supported?

Kingston HyperX Impact HX424S14IBK2/32

https://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/HX424S14IBK2_32.pdf

I am confused by the double-sided placement of chips on the memory module.

Thanks for the tip.
Indeed, Kingston HyperX Impact HX424S14IBK2/32 is not compatible.
It looks like this Kingston KCP424SD8/16 RAM should be compatible.

Welcome to the Dell Community  @timlok19

2 x 16GB = 32GB is the max for your laptop.

Now the Kingston HyperX memory is the question???

I have seen on some systems HyperX memory did not work. "HP, IBM and Dell"

https://www.dell.com/community/XPS/XPS-15-7590-not-working-with-HyperX-Impact-DDR4-2400-or-2666/m-p/7352848#M32879

It would be best if someone that has used that type of memory on this system would reply???

Next you could try contacting Kingston and check for comparability.

@timlok19

Indeed 32GB modules are not compatible.

As stated above 2 x 16GB = 32GB is the max for your laptop.

@U2CAMEB4ME It goes without saying. Apparently, you were confused by the name of the topic. Changed the name of the topic.
