Does Vostro 3568 i5 7th generation has m.2 slot ? User manual shows that it has m.2 slot 256gb ,does that mean it can support only 256gb ? What frequency of ram to be used since task manager show 2133mhz and cpuz show 2400mhz of the installed on

You're correct that the specs manual does state M.2 support. The service manual, at least the one I see online does not show M.2 support at all. I suspect the service manual is definitive - which means checking visually is a good idea for a final confirmation. That being the case, the only SSD option is to replace the hard drive with a 2.5" SSD (and if you want to keep the hard drive as well, move it to a third-party replacement caddy to the optical drive slot, if you can find one, or put it in a USB case and use it externally.

It will take a larger capacity -- 256 is simply the largest one Dell has tested. The drive MUST be SATA, not NVMe.
CPU-z is likely reading from the memory module; Windows shows the actual speed, which depends on the CPU you have installed.
