Vostro 3520 Laptop screen upgrade - HBR1, HBR2, HBR3? 40pin connector? EDP version support?
I have a Vostro 3520 Laptop with Core i3-1215U cpu (Alder-Lake U). From what i've seen online i'm fairly sure that the screen on my laptop has a 40pin EDP connector. It has a 250nits 120HZ 1920x1080 non-touch display. I'm wanting to replace it with a higher quality screen such as 400nits, 1200:1 contrast ratio, higher colour gamut accuracy etc. The online manual doesn't say what EDP version the laptop supports or whether it supports HBR, HBR2 and HBR3. I'm fairly sure the existing screen is HBR1 not HBR2 or HBR3 but i'd like to know which it supports, which EDP version it supports and how many EDP lanes so i can order a great screen.
I'm running the latest v1.36.0 bios. P.S strangely bios updated to v1.36.0 using the bios auto updater but v1.35.0 is the latest shown on the dell website which is odd.

Bear in mind that notebooks only work with a small set of screens they're coded to recognize -- you cannot (other than by trial and error) fit other screens simply by connector type and specification.
If you goal is a better display, an external monitor is a surer path to success.
