Vostro 3520 HDD

Hello, my previous laptop Vostro 3520 broke, I bought the same model again. The problem is that I added a 1TB hard drive to the first one and it started without any problems. Now the second one doesn't want to start Windows 10.What BIOS settings are needed?

Hi

Can you clarify exactly what OS and Hardware are you dealing with?

What storage came with this second (new) Vostro 3520?

Has it been modified / adapted or upgraded?

Normally the BIOS has a Boot Manager that point to a storage device HDD/SSD etc.

Fitting/Changing it does not change the BIOS setting, it is still pointing at the old one.

Installing an OS on the 'new' one will normally register as the boot device, sometimes there are more than 1 option and you may need to change the order.

Much like the above piccie showing 5 boot options, where you need to select the correct one.

So with more information from you we may be able to provide a better answer.
