Vostro 3500, faulty mechanical design
I bought this Vostro 3500 through Dell.com official website with invoice date June 9, 2021. I had 1 year Accidental Damage Service warranty which expired on June 12, 2022.
After receiving the product only, I noticed a small scratch on the screen due to the pressure of the keypad. The design of the laptop is such that there is no padding in the boundary between screen and keypad, so most of the times there are impressions of keys on the screen.
To my bad, I ignored it initially and delayed the complaint due to the lockdown and college admission process.
I would request Dell Support to consider the lockdown and pandemic days in between to provide me a replacement of my laptop screen.
