Vostro 3420, display brightness no changing
display brightness not changing and power saving option not working
<Warranty expired January 2025. Moved thread out of Inspiron Desktops and into Vostro Laptops. DELL-Admin>

On the Dell Vostro 3420, brightness not changing is usually fixed by reinstalling/updating the Intel graphics driver from Dell Support and then restarting.
