Vostro 3300 - MotherBoard OFN8W3 - UpGrade Processor
Hi, I have a Vostro 3300 i3-m370 2.4ghZ, OFN8W3 motherboard.
How to know which Processors are supported for upgrade?
Through SW like the CPU-Z I saw that it uses BGA1288 / PGA988 socket and I couldn't find information on the board if it uses BGA solder or socket with pins

@EngPower
Most laptop CPU's are not BGA.
Did you look at the link I posted.
The CPU's are Socket G1.
And this would be the CPU you want.
Best regards,

Welcome to the Dell Community @EngPower
The i7-640M would be best.

Thanks for the answer.

This system uses a PGA CPU as noted. Starting with the 4th generation Intel CPUs in 2013, Intel started phasing out PGA mobile CPUs. That phaseout has been complete for some years now - ALL current mobile CPUs are soldered-in. The sole remaining notebooks that have socketed, replaceable CPUs use desktop chips - not mobile.
