Vostro 15 3568, do not see SSD slot?
Upon checking on Dell website, I bought M.2 SSD for my Dell Vostro 15 3568 i3 7th Gen. But surprisingly when engineer opened the machine, we didn't find any M.2 slot? Please help me out and kindly confirm whether mentioned model has M.2 SSD slot or not? If yes, I can revisit the engineer and get the job done.

This is a bit puzzling, because Dell's manual contradicts other sources. After checking several sources and watching a disassembly video, I believe that Dell's manual is incorrect when it lists M.2 support. I believe that the only drive interface is for 2.5" SATA.
You can choose any 2.5" SATA SSD. It will fit into the same spot where your hard drive is now, replacing the hard drive.
I can recommend Crucial MX500 SATA SSDs. Tests show them to have almost the performance of much more expensive competitors, yet the MX500 drives are more reasonably priced. They recently reduced the prices, so they are good value. They include the 7mm-to-9.5mm spacer/adapter. Here are some on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/crucial-mx500/s?k=crucial+mx500
Whenever touching components or working inside a computer, wear a grounded wrist strap, also called anti-static wrist strap, ESD wrist strap, or ground bracelet. I know many people do such work without this, but it's a cheap and sensible precaution. Rest the laptop on an anti-static mat or at least a reasonable alternative such as corrugated cardboard.

The Vostro 15 3568 Owner's Manual page 76 correctly states =
Table 25. Storage specifications
M.2 SSD SATA 3.0
The Dell internal spare parts page only shows both SATA 3.0 SSD and SATA 3.0/ M.2 SSD =
2X50D Intel Pro 5450 256GB, SSD, SATA3, 2.5", Height 7mm
KGH8K Intel Pro 5450 256GB, SSD, SATA3, M.2, 22mm/80mm/1.5mm
The Dell external Vostro 15 3568 Parts & Accessories page only shows SATA SSD.
