USB-C To Display Port

Some will have that option, while others won't -- if it's a 3000 series, it will not.

You'll need to provide the model number and the GPU is has for a definitive answer.

The only external video on this model is over HDMI  -- USB-C is data only.  It's limited to FHD 60 Hz.

Hello ppl! Ordered a Vostro 3530 with i7-1355u, 16gb ram with IRIS XE graphics but haven't received it yet.Wanted to know the same thing, is the usb type c port compatible with Displayport? My online search points towards no but after a phone call with Dell support, providing my service tag,they said it does support Displayport and PD. I'm really confused.

If it has an aluminum casing or discrete video (nVidia MX550) yes. 

If it has a plastic chassis, no.

Yah, that's what I've been seeing all around, but support hotline got me confused but happy, since I want to connect a tv and watch 4k 60fps videos.... Thx for the reply!
