Upgrading Ram on Dell Vostro 3570
Hi Guys,
I've just bought a Dell Vostro 3570.
I can see that i have a 8 GB single rank DDR4 2400 Mhz module.
I'd like to know if also dual rank modules are supported or not in order to upgrade it
Thanks in advance
Mike

Yes, this is still possible. The system supports both single & dual rank memory.

Are you sure it is a Vostro 3570 or could it be a 3750?

Thank you for your message. This system supports a maximum of 32GB DDR4 @2133/2400 MHz both single & dual channel.
However, to get full bandwidth out of dual-channel, both channels must have an identical memory configuration. If you already have a single channel memory, we recommend an upgrade to a single channel to support the existing memory.

Thanks for your reply.
I understand that upgrading with another single rank module Is preferred in order to get full bandwidth performance but i'd like to know ora configuration with 2 RAM modules (One with single rank and the other with dual rank) Is possible or not.
Thanks in Advance
Mike
