Upgrade from 23H2 blocked for my Vostro 5620?

Question

H. Hoping someone here can shed some light. I've never been offered to upgrade from 23H2 on my Vostro, and now MSFT is ending support for that O/S. Does anybody know what's going on with this? Has Dell completely washed their hands of systems that are 2+ years old?

I'm considering an in-place (manual) upgrade, but am reluctant to do so, if Dell has blocked the device.
Any advice from other people with the Vostro 5620 (or otherwise) will be appreciated.

For reasons unknown perhaps outside of Microsoft itself, some systems do not receive notification. Your system should be fully compliant with all versions of Windows 11 after the current one. You can manually install the update yourself -- see
