Unable to set up on an external monitor 2560x1440 resolution
Hello,
On my notebook model Dell Vostro 3420, I'm NOT able to set up the 2560x1440 resolution on an external monitor Acer model K272HUL, but I'm able to set up the 2560x1440 resolution on an external monitor EIZO model 2736W. I'm using the same HDMI cable on both monitors. Both monitors are 2560x1440 capable.
Please help me.

Have you installed a monitor driver from Acer for the unit that isn't working?

@ejn63 Yes, I did ( the Acer driver is very an old driver for windows 8).
I used the same Acer monitor with another older Lenovo notebook running windows 10, with the default driver for generic monitor,and, using the same HDMI cable, I got the 2560x1440 resolution.
