The Hinges, Bezel, and LCD covers being Loose

When I called to Dell Customer care about issues with the hinges, bezel, and LCD covers being loose, I was informed they would be replaced. I have basic warranty but was not informed at the time purchase about the warranty details, including damage coverage. The next day, Dell customer care told me the parts wouldn't be replaced under the basic warranty since they fall under damage warranty, which confused me because I argued there was no damage; the parts are simply loose due to normal wear on the fiber body, which usually occurs within 5-6 months. Currently, I am dissatisfied.
