Replacing Qualcomm QCA9377 Wireless Card in Vostro 3578
Hi,
Can I replace the wireless card Qualcomm QCA9377 with Intel 7265 or similar? Laptop model: Vostro 3578
This card shows up under the drivers list for this Vostro 3578 model https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-ie/product-support/product/vostro-15-3578-laptop/drivers however it doesn't show up on the laptop manual https://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/vostro-15-3578-laptop_owners-manual_en-us.pdf - page 57.
Wireless LAN Options:
• Qualcomm QCA9377 802.11ac Dual Band (1x1) Wireless
Adapter+ Bluetooth 4.1
• Qualcomm QCA61x4A 802.11ac Dual Band (2x2) Wireless
Adapter+ Bluetooth 4.1
Any other suggestions are welcome.
Thanks

Hi, I went for Intel Wireless AC 9260 2230 2x2 + BT Gigabit vPro. The best I could choose. Highly recommended.
Best of luck.

Dear Dell, this is useless. Generic problems that don't require personal information should have public answers in the forum so that others could find them.

I too went with Intel Wireless AC 9260 2230 2x2 + BT Gigabit vPro. Works out of the box both with Ubuntu 18.04 and Windows 10 LTSC.
Original QCA9377 was completely awful, dropping connections all the time. Intel card is flawless.
