Pre-boot System Performance Check

Why does my vostro 3401 stayed in loop at pre boot system check. I cannot open my laptop because it stays in pre boot system whenever I'm opening it. When the pre boot system is done it says success, it says like this 'No bootable devices were found! Possible causes could be a corrupt OS image or a boot devices is not enabled in BIOS setup.'

You may have the answer to your question already.  The system has to run diagnostics because....No bootable devices were found! Possible causes could be a corrupt OS image or a boot devices is not enabled in BIOS setup.

Create a Windows installation media using Microsoft Windows Creation Tool and reinstall the operating system.  Or, you can review this article for reset or reinstall Windows 11 on your Dell computer  https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000192698/reset-or-reinstall-windows-11-on-your-dell-computer

@Chino de Oro I'm stuck at the pre-boot system. It runs itself and proceed to pre boot. Like im in a loop.

With a Windows installer USB connected, continue to tap on F12 at boot to access one time boot menu and select to boot with USB.  You can run Win RE to repair your boot drive  https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/windows-recovery-environment--windows-re--technical-reference?view=windows-11

Bad CMOS battery can cause boot loop problems.

Moving this thread from Desktops to Vostro laptops.
