Offers related query regarding Vostro 5620 Laptop
Hello there, first of all I would like to apologize if I am using the wrong thread to ask my query (I did went through the threads but could not find any appropriate section to put in my query)
I recently ordered a Dell Vostro 5620 Laptop from Dell Authorized Store in my city. As it's a business laptop and I don't have GST ID/account, I couldn't afford to purchase on my own. After having a conversation with the store person, I was informed that I am not eligible for any offers that are listed under the "Offer section" of that particular model (except the price discount).
To be more precise, I was really looking forward to grab this particular offer that Dell is currently offering:
Get Alienware AW310H headset worth ₹7,999 at ₹99 or Cannon G3010 worth ₹17195 at ₹1999
Later I figured out that this particular offer can be claimed through the website itself and requires some additional information's.
I would like to know that if I was lied from the store or is it really true that as I am not having to pay GST, I am in-eligible to grab those goodies.

The offers no doubt apply only to purchases directly from Dell, not from a retailer. That said, the Vostro systems are designed to be sold in the small business market. If you're looking to order a system direct from Dell for personal use, there is the same system sold as the Inspiron 5620.

Thank you for answering my question.
A few things which I am still not clear of.
a) The fact is that the person from the Dell retail shop himself ordered it on my behalf through dell website. The only reason I couldn't do it by myself was because I don't have a GST number (later was informed by my cousin is that it was huge profit for the dell store manager of flat 18% that he can claim when filling the GST). I actually wanted to know that as he purchased the laptop from Dell online store, is he eligible for the offers himself and just hiding it from me? Will I be able to figure it out anyhow?
2. Yes, I have looked for a similar model in Inspiron series, the only reason I didn't went for it is that it comes with an U processor while Vostro comes with P processor. My usage is kind of combined between regular and heavy usage hence couldn't make the choice to pick up an Inspiron series within that particular price segment (also keeping the weight and some other factors of the laptop in mind)
