not being able to put 2nd slot ram correctly
i tried putting ram in the 2nd slot in my Vostro 1540 and its not going in , there is no possible way of getting it in

Wrong ram? Your model can use up to 8gb total ram--two 4 gb chips. See manual for installing ram--

When you say no possible way, is the RAM physically the correct size? What type of RAM are you trying to install? The following link should help. And remember that the slot on the RAM must line up with the key in the motherboard slot.

i use ddr3 1333mhz 4gb . the ram is not going fully inside the 2nd one but only the 1st one its the first time i try putting any ram in the 2nd slot
