Max resolution on external monitor with Dell Vostro 3420
Vostro 3420
Hi, I recently bought a new monitor, Samsung 34'' product name S34C50 and I have a Intel Iris Xe graphic card on a Dell Vostro 3420 notebook. I'm not able to set up an higher resolution, the maximum that appear in windows option is 1920 x 1080. Can someone help me? I will share all the info you need to support me. Thanks a lot!

If your Vostro 3420 has USB type C with DisplayPort, you can use it to achieve native resolution of your Samsung monitor, ultra wide QHD. Otherwise, the HDMI 1.4 on your Vostro does not support maximum resolution of the Samsung.
