Is the serial number of my Dell Laptop Battery valid?

I am using Dell Vostro 15-3568 laptop. I have ordered an additional Dell Laptop battery from "flipkart.com". It gets discharged quickly and it is under warranty period of 1 year. The serial number of my battery is as "KR-78V9D-71769-678-CJMA-A04. 

I want to know, is this serial number valid? If yes, how old the battery is?
