feedback : pg up / pg dn location in vostro/latitude 14"

Hello.

I'm searching for weeks a new Laptop. I use to have an old Inspiron DELL (10 years old), and I wanted to replace it with something more up to date.

I want a model with more than one USB port and a decent keyboard (I write a lot : text and code).

But when I look at the Dell catalogue for a 14" or 15" model, I found the keyboard layout is very confusing and will probably not suit my use case : the Page Up and Page Down keys are in second access of the cursor key. I dont like that, it is not convenient at all.

Also I notice the on/off button is not far from the Delete / backspace key. I hope there is a smart trigger here, or the computer may be shuted down eache time I hit the wrong key.

I dont know how this layout is call. I think it started in 2020, but now (beg 2023) it is the common layout of all 14" and 15" model. And there is no way to heave the kayboard layout in criteria in the search engine, so I must open each page of each model to check the key layout.

I presume this layout was made to reduce number of keys and keep cost low, but for me it is a failure, and a more standard keyboard should be proposed in option.
