Dell Vostro tag: 193nxn2 is SATA 2 or 3 or M.2
I want to upgrade it with a new SSD, Does my laptop has SATA 2 or SATA 3 or M.2
I searched everywhere in the manual didn't find any, mostly confused with SATA 2 or 3.
Can I just remove the optical drive, and put old hdd which is working fine as only storage device?
Factory Product Specs:
Service Tag:
8GiB RAM
intel i5 8gen
1TB hdd

No M.2. Any 2.5" SATA SSD will work, though at 6G/s.
If you can find an adapter to fit, yes, you can move the hard drive to the optical bay. These aren't Dell parts - you'll need to find an adapter from a third party (but note: the hard drive in the adapter is storage only - it cannot boot the system).

Thanks for the help.@ejn63
So I could open the laptop myself?
I am confused with wd blue and gigabyte ssd, gigabyte is more pocket friendly and the capacity of both are same. What are your suggestions?

WD, I have experience with; Gigabyte is a newcomer to marketing SSDs (and probably just re-brands SSDs from someone else, since it's unlikely they manufacture them); you'll have to ask elsewhere for experience with their SSDs.
