Dell Vostro Hinge Failure

My Dell Vostro, covered under a 3-year ProSupport warranty, has developed a serious hinge issue just after more than a year of normal use. The right hinge cap is prying open the screen bezel whenever I open or close the lid, and the screen no longer closes evenly. This makes the laptop's screen being unable to be opened or closed.

I have previously sent Dell Technical Support on both Whatsapp and Apple Messages images of

– The hinge defect
– The bezel being pried open
– The unevenness when the screen is closed
The images also clearly show there are no signs of external damage or misuse.

However, they claimed this was “not a manufacturing issue” and suggested misuse that I did not use the device properly, but I strongly disagree. The laptop has only been used under normal conditions, and I rely on it heavily as I am starting my college lessons soon.

I was told this matter would be escalated, but I have not received further communication. I am therefore turning here for assistance.

Could a Dell representative or Community Manager please assist with getting this case properly reviewed and resolved under ProSupport?
