Dell Vostro 3568 Power and Sleep Settings Not Working

I am using Dell Vostro 15 3568 from past 2 years. I had changed the power and sleep settings from power and sleep option for sleeping to 'never' but kept the screen off settings same as default. But, since past few days, even after changing the sleeping settings from 'never' to 10 minutes for battery and 20 minutes for plugged in, the laptop never goes to sleep. It stays awake.

I tried resetting to default in both my dell power profile and balanced power profile, but it didn't work. Also, I tried running the command 'powercfg -requests' but it shows NONE in all the categories. Furthermore, I even tried disabling the fast startup, but didn't work too.

Almost all other options available on the internet has been tried out.

If anybody suggests a solution will be highly appreciable.

The problem is solved.

It was actually the problem with the device which keeps the screen on and if the screen is remaining on, it will not proceed to sleep.

The solution which I followed is mentioned in the link given below:

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-power-winpc/windows-10-screen-wont-turn-off-after-specified/51ede8de-2899-4d0c-a5cb-a45529396d2b

If other people have similar issues related to power and sleep settings not working, or screen doesn't turn off, please try the solution mentioned in the link above.

Disable Hibernation.

Disable Sleep

Set power profile to High Performance.

If it still shuts down there may be a cooling issue.

Thanks for your suggestion.

It appears that you have not understood my problem.

My laptop actually doesn't go in sleep mode whatever power settings I choose, it stays awake.

I tried all other suggestions over the internet, except Windows refresh/repair.

If you can suggest anything else, it will be highly appreciable.
