Dell OS recovery tool not working
I have vostro 3468 and have my hard disk replaced. Due to some issue I want to factory reset my device which was originally on Ubuntu 16. I installed OS recovery tool, but it is not working for my pc. It Stucks on " Finding best recovery option for you ". I am currently on Win 10. Any advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Why would you want to recover to such an old outdated OS? If you want Ubuntu, use a current release. If it were me, I would perform a clean install of Ubuntu from a flash drive.

Because my fixed data drives are automatically encrypted, and I don't have recovery key. One of my colleague suggested to factory reset the system as he had same issue and factory reset with dell os recovery tool saved his data. But dell os recovery tool not working for me although it is enabled from bios.
