Dell Inspiron 5559 Security Wipe hard disks
Hi,
I tried to wipe my Dell Inspiron 5559 from the Bios menu.
In the BIOS menu I found a hard disk wipe option. I selected it to wipe hard disk during the next boot so that I could re install freshly onto the wiped disk.
On next boot the wiping begun but now system is asking for old password which was not set or entered in BIOS. Can anyone help to resolve this issue.

Remove the drive from the system and go into setup -- is there a password set there for the drive (F2 at powerup)?
