CPU random generator seem to be failing, disabling hardware random number generation after bios update
Hello Community.
I get the below message when I try to run any program on terminal.
"WARNING: CPU random generator seem to be failing, disabling hardware random number generation
WARNING: RDRND generated: 0xffffffff 0xffffffff 0xffffffff 0xffffffff"
in dell laptop after bios update to 1.35.0
The processor is AMD-RYZEN5
The operating system is Ubuntu
the laptop is <Private data removed from public view. DELL-Admin> Vostro 15 3515
When I search, I find that the CPU random generator can be disabled...
But that solution isn't recommended.
Any Idea how this can be solved or should I wait till the next Bios update?

I just need to note that I upgrade the BIOS to 1.37.0 and still have the same issue. I also think it becomes slower in starting and shutting down.

Nothing, just wait for the new bios update. Disable it can be made but it is a hardware error that appears on pc start up too
