Can I use an 2280 m.2 in the Dell Vostro 14 5410?

I have a Dell Vostro 14 5410 which has an m.2 2230 SSD removed. From the looks of it, not that it's clear from the image, the standoff/mount for the 2230 m.2 protrudes upwards, which prevents the use of the 2280 m.2. Can the standoff/mount for the 2230 m.2 be removed?
