BitLocker key will not unlock
Hello. After a hardware repair by DELL, we needed to input the BitLocker key to re boot the laptop. Did this, but no luck unlocking. So on recommendation from DLL support AI bot, was given instructions on how to do this fron the C:promt. Again, followed the instruction confirming the laptop was locked. then followed these instuctions -
Step 3: If the
status is locked, use the following command to unlock it using your Recovery
Password: manage-bde -unlock c: -rp and your 48-digit Recovery Password
Once I did this, I was given the message ' manage-bde -unlock c: -rp' not rcognised as an internal or external command prompt.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks
