Assistance Required: Service Tag Not Found and Windows Activation Issue

Dear Dell Support Team,

I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 17 7630 laptop, but I am encountering two issues that I need assistance with:

  1. Service Tag Not Found

    • The Service Tag on my device is not being recognized when I attempt to register or access support on your website. I have confirmed that I entered the correct 7-character code, and I also verified it in the BIOS.
    • Despite these efforts, the system indicates that the Service Tag is invalid or not found.
  2. Windows 11 Not Activated

    • The laptop came pre-installed with Windows 11, but it is not activated. I expected the operating system to be activated as part of the purchase.
    • The Activation Troubleshooter was unable to resolve this, and there is no product key provided with the laptop or in the packaging.

I kindly request your assistance in:

  • Verifying and updating the Service Tag in your system.
  • Providing a valid Windows 11 product key or ensuring the digital license activates successfully.

You need to obtain any information about the non-valid service tag from your seller, and the answer to Windows activation from the same source.

If no explanation is forthcoming from the seller, return the system to them for a refund.
