All USB ports stopped working for vostro 5490
On my Vostro 5490 recently all my USB ports (one USB 2.0, two USB 3.x and one USB C) stopped working. I have tried to disable/enable and uninstalling the USB devices in the Device Manager but did not help. I also tried to update the bios and chipset drivers but did not help either. I only have three device under USB controllers in the device manager (Intel USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller, USB Composite Device and USB Root Hub). I tried to restart in safe mode but no change.
I can charge the PC with the USB C and also charge other devices by using the USB ports of the PC, the devices connected are however not recognizable.
Any suggestions what I can do?

I checked the Bios and enabled "external USB devices" under system configuration and now it is working!
