After update unable to use 3840x1080p.

After a recent windows update and dell drivers, the 3840x1080p resolution stopped working. I uninstalled the Intel Iris drivers, after rebooting and installing the driver automatically from windows update the 3840x1080p resolution was visible again.

The next day after booting up, only full hd was visible again, and the way with uninstalling the driver no longer worked. The maximum full hd resolution is still available.

I also checked on three other HDMI cables, with no effect.

The laptop is a Vostro 3510 with additional MX350 graphics, has anyone had a similar problem?
