Adaptive brightness (Change brightness automatically when lighting changes) check box disappeared after housing change.

After I changed the laptop housing, I cannot find the option (check box) that enables me to select "change brightness automatically when lighting changes"  in the display setting. There is only the brightness slider. I updated all the display adapter and monitor drivers but the issue persists. The operating system is Windows 11, version 24H.
