3530 fans is too loud
I am just testing Vostro 3530, plastic case, with Intel 1334U. Fans constantly working, and from my point of view and taste, its too loud. I have 2 HP computers, one with Intel 1135G, and another with AMD 7530U, and fans not spinning constantly, especially if I not using resources. But Dell doing so, even surface is not hot. Dell Power Manager is not available for my model. I red somewhere that this model somehow can control power and fans, but found nothing. What to do if something, or to return the product.

We had the same issue with our Vostro 3530. We had 8 of them and they all exhibit the same when the fans never stop running. I talked to Dell before and one of the laptop had it's fan replaced but that made no difference. Updating BIOS also had no effect. After months of trying different things, I found using BIOS 1.8 does reduce the noise and the time the fan is running, a bit.
You can tried return the product. We managed to return 2 at the end which Dell said they did test at the factory and found everything within their spec.
One other thing is all 8 units have another issue where the USB ports are very tight. Again, Dell said their test came back fine within their spec and there is nothing they could do. I did find that after inserting and pulling a USB device say 30 or 50 times that it managed to loosen up the ports.
I just feel that the quality of this model is not as good as the others. We bought Vostro for years and never experience so many problems like the 3530.
