Vostro 5880, S2725HS, skipping sounds fixed

Hi, I'd like to offer this solution to the frustrating issue I had with my brand new Dell S2725HS monitor. The visuals were fantastic but there was constant skipping/static sounds in the monitor. Working with a tech friend, we discovered that rolling back the Windows driver to a 11/30/2011 version (and preventing future driver updates) solved the problem. The sound on my monitor is now as fantastic as its visuals. If anyone needs more details, I'm happy to provide them. To be honest, I'm happy to contact technically fabulous friend to get more details!!
