Vostro 5090, Intel UHD 630 graphics, multiple monitor issue

Dell will not support multiple monitors under the basic warranty.

The specific issue that that if you have multiple windows open on both monitors, the computer with resize and move anything on Mon 2  to Mon 1 on a sleep wake cycle.

Lot of computers have this issue and is not a consumer fix. It is a manufacturer's fix.

I have spent 8 or more hours trying to get Dell to understand the problem, that is well noted and confirmed. I spoke directly with Intel about it.

I have tried multiple Intel drivers and generic Microsoft drivers. The problem for me was solved using an older NVIDIA dedicated card. This is not a knock against Intel - their support was fantastic considering its not their problem in my opinion.

Do not buy this machine unless you accept the need to reconfigure your desktop every time you wake.

Do not buy unless you understand Dell has stated both verbally and in writing this issue is not covered under the basic warranty.

This is a brand new, out of the box machine.

It is generally known that if you want to use multiple monitors, you need a dedicated video card.

I can't help with your Dell-company issues, but the machine-issue:
- Stop allowing full S3-Sleep-Mode (use machine or shut-it-down).
- Use DisplayPort and try daisy-chaining monitors
- Install a (small, low-powered) dedicated video card with 2 or more video-ports
- Try a USB "video-card" (last option).
