Vostro 5090, in search of 3.5" hard drive caddy

I have two 3.5" drives to install in my Vostro 5090, but only one empty caddy came with it. I attempted to order through Dell parts. She said the part number was PZWYJ but they are "not available" and there is no alternate part that will fit. The empty caddy that came with it pictured below.

Anyone know of a source before I resort to cable ties and duct tape? I googled for it but came up empty. Most of the parts sites don't even know about the Vostro 5090.

Side note: The Dell parts person who was helping me was AMAZING. She tried really hard to find the answer, and did help me order 2.5" caddies I also needed.

The best I could come up with are these 2 here and here. Your picture will not be visible until approved by a moderator.

Thanks for the info on the images. Hopefully they will show soon.

I appreciate the links, but those won't work. On the 5090, there aren't any bays that the caddies/sleds slide into. I guess a frame would be a better word to describe it. The frame is just a cage that the 3.5" hard drive goes into and is then secured by two screws to the internal frame. A cleat slides into a hole on the bottom to secure that end.

Those caddies seem to need screws.

PZWYJ does not appear to show up anywhere.

If its not that number find out what is on there.

Look for that number stamped into the metal on the caddy.

So there are no blue plastic holders.

No, these aren't blue plastic caddies, and as I'd already mentioned, they fasten to the case with two screws. Are the photos I had in the original post still not showing?

But your saying that the P/N should be stamped on it prompted me to remove the one I have from the case, remove the drive, and look again. It turns out the P/N is stamped in a fairly inconvenient place, but it is there (see photo below). It says

P/N 1B43  GGUOO  MID  42940    (the "OO" could be "00", but the 0 in 42940 looks numeric and GGUOO looks like letters)

But so far, that hasn't helped. I'm still not seeing anything on the Dell parts site, or Google search, etc.

@ThreeValuedBit, did you find a resolution to this?

I'm looking at buying a Vostro 5090.  I have two 3.5" hard drives I would want to install in it.

Thanks!

Yes. I chatted with Dell Parts again a few weeks ago and they located a 3.5" caddy that was now in stock and compatible (I'd already purchased the 2.5" plastic silde-in caddies). The 3.5" caddy they shipped was identical to the one empty one that came with my Vostro 5090. Unfortunately, I don't have a part number. The invoice just says

ASSY,BRKT,HD,3.5,CADDY,D10

You just need to get on chat on the Dell site, navigating to parts. Give them your service tag/model number and say you want the above item and they will figure it out. Took me about 20 minutes in chat, but hey .. they were helpful and I had the item in a few days shipped for $4.99.

Know too that you have 4 SATA connectors on the motherboard, one of which is taken up by the optical drive. The onboard SSD does not take one. So you can add a total of three SATA drives internally, up to two of each 2.5" and 3.5".

I really didn't have any problem getting the 2.5" caddies. I don't have a part number but this is how it is listed on the invoice.
